Trapunto 101 (You Tube)
I find the entire process of Trapunto just fascinating. I’ve yet to try it but plan to. This two-part series provides an excellent illustration and I also recommend Karen McTavish’s book, The Secrets of Elemental Quilting, which also covers Trapunto tips and tricks.
That was a wonderful tutorial! I’ve been trying to find out exaclty what trapunto quilting was and couldn’t figure it out until I watched it. So much easier than slitting the back, stuffing in batting, etc…than I had read about. A question (I may have missed the answer) what color thread were you using on the background? What brand of invisible thread do you recommend for this? Thanks so much!
