Map of Bones by James Rollins

I’m slowly being drawn into this Dan Brown meets Indiana Jones type series. Rollins mixes action, intrigue, and history with liberal doses of the paranormal to keep me coming back. This novel deals with the bones of the Three Wise Men and as the title intimates, maps  to mysteries of priceless antiquities.

I wish Rollins’ character development had been as detailed as his historical descriptions, but alas action won out. Nevertheless the plot was so intricate and twisted, I found it an enjoyable read and plan to continue with the next in the series.
