Victory Quilt: Finally Finished!!

I started this quilt back in 2009. It was easy to set aside for other projects as I had no recipient in mind when I started it. My original plan was to use 18 squares on point with a swag border. But that resulted in a queen size bed quilt. Because of the colors I chose, and the fact it had been five years in progress, I changed my goal to use 12 blocks with a ribbon border to produce a lap-sized quilt. This baby is going to the wonderful lady who chose me to adopt Jack (our standard poodle).
