Quilting the Puzzle Quilt

I have to say, it took a lot longer to finish quilting this baby than I anticipated. But it was worth it. I wanted to emphasize the blocks as background behind the links. And yet, I wanted to draw attention to both. I decided that stippling the cream block centers would not do it justice. I love my final choices for the blocks and the links. I used  40 wt pale yellow Isacord thread on the front with white on the back. Unfortunately, each block took me almost an hour to quilt because I chose such a dense pattern. I think it was worth the time though. These pictures were taken after washing.
