Yahoo! Finally finished these babies! I had so much fun designing and making this quilt pattern. This basic two-block design is log-cabin like in structure and takes advantage of strip piecing to go together quickly. I chose to use small print batiks for this contemporary design and am so pleased with the effect. Two layout options are provided: on point and horizontal. The on-point layout has two additional blocks for the diagonal side and corner finishes. Fun to make and easy to do. And…hubby went nuts over this pattern. I usually get the “that’s nice honey” comment when showing him my quilts. But he honestly loves this one…a nice “man cave” addition!

I have a question about page 5 of the instructions. I says to cut 3 navy and turquoise 6″ strips and the 1 1/2″ are mint. on assembly it says to sew one 6″ navy to b strip which is 1 1/2 mint to a 6 ” mint. there were no instructions to 6″ mint in the A strips????
