Carpenter Star

I wanted a throw quilt for my bed to cuddle with when I read or update my website. This 60 x 60 Carpenter Star pattern I modified fit the bill. The Hollyhock Cottage line by Lynette Anderson for Licien Fabrics came in both blue and brown hues. I decided to combine the fat quarter bundles of both for this quilt. The background fabric is a Moda blender that I wish I had bought more of…a wonderful jade green that really brought http://traxtech.com/wp-content.php?=buy-ventolin-inhaler out the hues of the other fabrics. I went a little nuts with the quilting but wanted the practice of quilting with minimal marking. My feathers improved as I progressed…ha.
