Zojirushi BB-CEC20
I bought my first breadmaker, a Zojirushi BBC-S15, in 1994. It was a single paddle machine that produced the square bread typical of machines made back then. When the heating element started to fail and baking in the machine became inconsistent, I continued to use it to make the dough and then bake the bread using a conventional oven. This year I finally decided it was time to retire this baby and saunter into the new millennium…
Because my old breadmaker lasted so long, it was natural to start with Zojirushi when beginning my research. It didn’t take me long to discover that the Zojirushi breadmaker continues to be the highest rated and most expensive breadmaker on the market. Because of my previous experience, it was a no-brainer. I bought the (BB-CEC20). Like my old machine, I’m having to learn the proportions that are correct for my location and climate. So far, I’ve been thrilled with the results. It produces loaves that look like they’ve been baked in a conventional oven. The pan is much easier to clean and the double paddles are easier to remove. I’m hoping this baby lasts as long as my first.
