Karlee Porter was recently featured on Quilt It, a QNNTV.com show. After watching the show, I knew I had to buy Ms. Porter's book, Graffiti Quilting: A Simple Guide to Complex Designs.
I’ve used feathers in several of my quilt borders. I like the idea of mirror images and am looking forward to trying this technique.

I’ve been wanting to do this particular filler for a while. But I had two problems…how to fill in the gaps and how to reduce thread buildup that Karen McTavish’s original pattern creates. This video does and excellent job of both. Once I’ve got it in my “muscle memory”, I am looking forward to trying.
