Blue Bayou Sampler Afghan
I’ve been neglecting my crochet section for some time now and decided it was time to get back in the groove with a new afghan. I’m still in the concept stage, but I envision 12 squares, each designed after a popular quilt square. Each square will be 36 by 36 stitches.
This morning I designed my first, the Ohio Star, one of my favorite quilt squares.

I’ve already revised my vision…after making my first square, I’ve decided to up my square count from 12 to 20…5 rows of 4 squares. I’ve also decided to assemble a quilt to match the afghan at the same time. Giving my brain (and fingers) a workout!
