This is the gorgeous king-size quilt my sister-in-law, Lorraine made for our guest bedroom.

Because of the sheer size of this baby, Lorraine assembled the quilt in panel sections and quilted each panel before assembling

Lorraine also made coordinating decorative pillow covers and a neck bolster.

She found a beautiful coordinating backing and hand-stitched strips over the panel seams.

As you can see, the valance is a little to large for the window but my plan is to make some coordinating side panels in a simple cream print.

Ron and I decided to switch out the king bed for the queen and with the help of Jeannine, his other sister, we rearranged the room and raised the raised bed.
