Nina is from the Netherlands and suffered a brain injury during birth in 2002. Her mother, Loes, joined AllOurQuilts.com early in April and has been sharing Nina’s story with our members. We’re currently making a variety of blocks for a quilt, which will be completed and sent to Nina and Loes for Nina’s birthday on June 28th.

In early April, Loes Hogenelst became a member of AllOurQuilts.com and began sharing her story about her daughter, Nina, born in 2002 with a brain injury. We’ve put together a group of quilters to make a quilt for Nina’s birthday in June. We are currently making a variety of blocks towards that goal which will be forwarded to one of our members for completion. It’s an ambitious goal but everyone has been stepping up to the challenge. I’m trying to complete 4-6 blocks for her and will post the results of my efforts.
