Blue Bayou »
I thought it would be fun to design and assemble a sampler quilt while crocheting a matching afghan. I’ve chosen simple traditional blocks so that I wouldn’t be too challenged with designing the matching pattern for the crocheted afghan. I’m posting each square for this quilt and the matching afghan as it is completed. You can follow my Blue Bayou Afghan in the Crochet section.

The first panel is done. Each block has a finished size of 9 inches. I will add the outer sashes once all four panels have been joined
